CUSTOMER REVIEWS

We are always happy to hear from our customers – whether it’s a pat on our back, or a suggestion for us to improve!

4 of us ordered 8 dishes, including soup and dessert. Food was flavourful and to our liking, and the restaurant has a cozy set up but not big. I will suggest one to make a reservation for peak hours and have more people.
The soup and dessert are ordered by per bowl. Food is reasonably priced. The dishes come in Small/Big options. Small Portion is good enough for 2 to 4 and could order more to try different dishes from the menu.
The young ladies are friendly and attentive although they were very busy.

Vegetarian options: It’s a vegetarian place!

Would add more stars if Google allowed. This hidden gem is terribly underrated. Don’t be fooled by the word “Vegetarian” in the name. All our friends and family, vegans, vegetarians, omnivores alike, were not disappointed with Mother Earth Classic. The presentation and quality of the food is good, taste is exceptional and consistent, and the restaurant ambience is cozy and comfortable, all of these at a very reasonable price. Carnivorous dad asked to go back for their mutton curry, picky omnivorous mum would sing praises of their “wok hei” fragrance in the stir fry, wife and I are big fans of their “say no to sharks fin” soup and Sze Chuan Tantan noodles, and the kids love their lion’s mane mushroom satay, olive fried rice, and stir fried broccoli. We would readily recommend Mother Earth Classic to anyone who is looking for a good meal!

Vegetarian options: Mother Earth Classic is fully familiar with vegan requirements, and most of their dishes can be made vegan upon request.

Dietary restrictions: Mother Earth Classic is fully familiar with vegan requirements, and most of their dishes can be made vegan upon request.

Parking: Plenty of parking lots available. Roadside parking along Geylang road is the most convenient, as there are lots available just outside of the restaurant. However, these lots are usually taken up. To save yourself the trouble of having to make another loop if there are no available lots, you can turn into Lorong 3 Geylang, and there are two multistorey carparks available right behind.

Kid-friendliness: They have child seats and children cutleries. They also readily serve water upon request.

Mother Earth Classic was the perfect place for a gathering with my family. We used one of the private rooms, which accommodated nine of us nicely. The deco was sophisticated but inviting, and we were amazed by how quickly the team was able to serve up dish after dish even though we were there on a fairly busy Friday evening!

But what really blew us away was the food. We feasted on cereal crispy tofu (we cleaned up every bit), delicious monkey head mushroom satay, sautéed Gong Bao “chicken” in yam ring, wok-fried hor fun with really impressive “wok hey” and a yummy rojak which I could not get enough of. Even seemingly simple dishes like the minced omni-meat omelette with preserved radish (gobbled up in 60 seconds 😅) and sautéed French beans were packed with flavour. And my teenage boys could not believe that the Mango Yuzu Mayo Prawns or the Teochew Crispy Fish that they devoured were vegetarian!

For desert, we only managed to try the yam paste and peach gum with white fungus, which ended off our meal on a perfect note. We also really enjoyed the two mocktails that we tried, and I found the Citrus Twist particularly refreshing.

We only wished we had the stomach to sample more dishes. We will be back for sure!

Excellent food & service from the team.

We got the private room which was very nicely decorated.

Every dish was tasty, service was prompt & polite.

10/10 would return

Most importantly, price was very reasonable for the serving size & quality of dishes.

Second branch of Mother Earth! While there is no shortage of vegetarian allium-free Chinese eateries in Singapore, what makes Mother Earth and Mother Earth Classic stand out is their sincerity in ensuring that their menu is vegan-friendly. Almost the entire menu is veganisable, such as the Signature Creamy Abalone Mushroom (my favourite item!) which can be made with oat milk for a vegan version. In addition, some dishes are unique to this outlet, such as the Sichuan Style Spicy Monkey Head Mushrooms (must-try!), Teochew Crispy Fish with Ginger and Black Bean Sauce, Pig’s Tripe Pepper Soup with Preserved Vegetables, Kyoto Pork Ribs with Lychee Crispy Yam Ring, etc. Some of the Teochew-style dishes even brought back childhood memories for my extended family! The dishes are tasty yet not oily, and the menu is affordably priced and very extensive. (In fact, calling this a Chinese eatery is a bit inaccurate, since they have many Western food options too.) Do yourself a favour and check out the food here!

There are private dining rooms available for a booking fee / minimum spending, great for intimate gatherings and celebrations:
– Pink Palms Private Room $200 min spending
– White Magic Private Room $300 min spending

I love the dishes at the first outlet but rarely find myself in the West; glad that this second outlet is much more centrally located! Conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from Kallang MRT. There are several parking options around, including free parking at the nearby 115 Geylang Lorong 3 on Sundays / public holidays as well as after 6pm on other days.

I visited this vegan restaurant, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing great attention to detail. The service was adequate, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy, enhanced by soft music that adds to the relaxing vibe. I’ve found a new favorite spot, and I’ll definitely be coming here very often.
Edit:
Came here again on a busy Sunday night 20 Oct, falling in love with this restaurant the second time. Thank you to the girl who assisted me in taking order even when she’s really running to serve many table. Thank you
